This October, broadcasting legend and QI star Sandi Toksvig will join us in Younger Hall for her latest funny and heart-warming novel, Friends of Dorothy.

After much searching, the happily married young couple, Amber and Stevie, think they have found the perfect spot in Grimaldi Square. Despite the rundown pub across the way, the overgrown garden and a decidedly nosy neighbour, number 4 is the house of their dreams. Sandi Toksvig was born in Denmark, brought up in Africa, then America and moved to the UK when she was fourteen. She has been on British stage, screen and radio for over forty years and was awarded an OBE for Services to Broadcasting. She is the mother of three children, married and lives in London.
