Children's Book Club

Children's Book Club for 8 - 11 yrs.

Every first Sunday of the month 10am - 11am.

Starting Sunday 5th March

First book is Wildoak by C.C. Harrington:

Maggie's stutter makes going to school hard. She will do almost anything to avoid speaking in class - even if that leads to trouble. Sent to stay in the depths of Cornwall with a grandfather she barely knows, Maggie discovers an abandoned snow leopard hiding in the nearby Wildoak Forest. But when the cub is spotted by local villagers, danger follows - threatening everything she has come to believe in. 

You can book on to the clubs here or at the bookshop at £5 per place. This voucher entitles to you to redeem against the price of either the chosen book, or a book of your choice in the Children's section on the day of the book group.

If you already own a copy of the book, please bring it along and you can redeem your place voucher against any other book in the Children/Teen section.

Please note that parents for the Children's Book Club must stay in the shop at all times, but we would be delighted for you to enjoy a pot of tea or coffee while you wait.

Places are limited so booking in advance is required. Given we will be discussing the featured book, reading the title in advance is essential.
