Barney White-Spunner

In celebration of the bi-centenary of the Battle of Waterloo June 18th, Lt-Gen Sir Barney White-Spunner will be introducing Of Living Valour, an insightful new work on the story of Waterloo.

As a former soldier himself, and using many unpublished sources, letters and diaries of ordinary British soldiers, Sir Barney White-Spunner  will tell the story of the against-the-odds triumph of the regimental officers and soldiers whose bravery and resolution achieved the victory that arguably changed the course of European history.
