An Evening of Caribbean Poetry with John Lyons

Poet, painter, teacher, cook… John Lyons is a man of many talents and seemingly inexhaustible energy. He joins us to celebrate the publication of two contrasting books of verse. A Carib Being in Cymru magically evokes the landscapes and legends of North Wales through a Caribbean sensibility, whilst Dancing in the Rain explodes with all the colour of the Trinidad carnival in a joyous, often humorous, collection that will appeal to readers of all ages. Both volumes overflow with John’s rich generosity of spirit and feature his own delightful illustrations.
