Described by Max Porter as ‘genre-defying’, it peels back the layers of the Wu-Tang Clan by carefully dissecting lyrics and delving into the history of each member; all while remaining acutely aware of and present within the cultural and political landscape from which Enter The Wu (36 Chambers) emerged.  As much a social history of late 20th Century America as it is a biography of perhaps the greatest hip-hop album of all time.
