Gather one gather all; we’ll be sharing our passion for manga in the bookshop over snacks, drinks, and laughs. Here, we can talk about our love for Gojo and Turbo Granny all we want! Time to get lost in the beautifully drawn panels of beloved and new manga that help us escape the busy work week. This month we’re reading ‘Tokyo Alien Bros’ by Keigo Shinzo.

Shinzo’s top-selling slice-of-life manga ‘Hirayasumi’ is a staff-favourite here in Bath and we’re excited about his newly published series ‘Tokyo Alien Bros’. Fuyunosuke and Natsutaro are sent to Earth as scouts to see if it’s suitable to colonise as their planet’s resources rapidly decline. Fuyunosuke is loving human life as he creates wholesome interpersonal relationships and bonds with his Shiba Inu. Natsutaro, however, struggles with turbulent human emotions, noisy streets, and salt. Can Fuyunosuke show Natsutaro delights that are hidden throughout the streets of Tokyo?
