East and South East Asian Heritage Month Celebration!

It's with huge excitement that we announce an evening in the bookshop in celebration of the UK’s second ever East and South East Asian Heritage Month!

We are delighted to be part of a nationwide celebration and events programme and welcome you to the bookshop for an evening of food, drinks, and readings as authors and chefs discuss their work alongside the book East Side Voices: Essays celebrating East and Southeast Asian identity in Britain.

We will be hosting two brilliant women: chef and founder of restaurant Poon's London Amy Poon & author of Inferno Catherine Cho.

ESEA month is described as "a chance to celebrate, acknowledge and learn about the incredible ways in which our communities have helped to shape the UK." With the aim of acknowledging and rectifying how "ESEA folk are underrepresented in the British media, on screen, in creative spaces and in corporate and institutional positions of power."
