Chetna Makan is the queen of Indian home cooking and we're happy to welcome her back to Bath for a talk, demo and tastings to celebrate her newest cookbook. An award-winning and vibrant food writer, Chetna was first introduced to us on The Great British Bake Off and after her wonderful debut, The Cardamom Trail, she has since authored many bestselling cookbooks, combining her inventive flavours with a love of simple Indian cooking.

In this new cookbook, Chetna brings us flavour-packed feasts designed to please a crowd. Chetna Makan was born in Jabalpur in Central India. She has a degree in fashion and worked in Mumbai as a fashion designer before moving to the UK in 2004. Chetna was part of The Great British Bake Off in 2014 and since then has written 7 cookbooks. They range from baking, Indian street food, healthy Indian food, vegetarian and quick Indian. She also has a very popular YouTube channel ‘Food with Chetna’ where she shares her creative flair for all things cooking and baking and has over 250k subscribers.
