Edinburgh Bookshop Event Accessibility

Venue information: Events in the bookshop take place in our fiction room on the first floor. The bookshop has wheelchair access via paved ramp and we have an internal lift.

We use our fiction room for intimate author events. If you need us to reserve space for a wheelchair or if we can help with any other access, please do let our team know in advance by emailing edinburgh@toppingbooks.co.uk or phoning us on 0131 5464202.

We use a microphone and speaker for events within the bookshop.

There are two bathrooms in the bookshop including an accessible bathroom on the ground floor.

Public Transport: The bookshop is a 10 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station and a 3 minute walk from Picardy Place Tram Stop. There are several bus stops nearby.

Parking: The bookshop is in the city centre and as such there is limited parking nearby. There is on street paid parking on Blenheim Place/Royal Terrace or in the Q-Park Omni.
